KaMu is a Children’s and Youth Choir from Kaarina, western Finland. KaMu is a story of something small growing up to be something great. Choir started up as a singing school class. Now it has not only doubled but nearly tripled the amount of its singers. KaMu choir’s first CD is devoted to independent Finland and it represents traditional Finnish songs with different groups. Girls’ Choir, Youth Choir and Children’s Choir. Also, KvaMu Quartet, an ensemble of four 15-17 year old young ladies and Melodica, an ensemble of eight 10-11 years old girls are the two KaMu-ensembles to be heard in this CD. KvaMu has also competed in Finland and abroad. KaMu Choirs are lead and organized by Artistic Director Mr. Pekka Nebelung.
