Piet Kuijken (born 1972) comes from the famous early music dynasty of the Kuijken family and is the son of the cellist and gamba player Wieland Kuijken.
As a soloist, he has worked with various orchestras and conductors. The versatile musician played on the harpsichord, the fortepiano and also on the modern grand piano and participated in numerous recordings.
For PASSACAILLE he plays a pure Brahms program in the fascinating world of the historical grand piano. Especially for this recording he has chosen an excellent instrument.
