With his second solo album, the young Swiss harpsichordist Titian Naef follows in Bach's footsteps back to 1722. Bach wrote five of the so-called "French Suites" as Suites pour le Clavessin in the famous clavier booklet for his wife Anna Magdalena. Fresh, melancholic-elegiac, virtuosic-artistic, the music explores the most diverse states of mind in shimmering colours.
