In 2012, four young musicians from different nationalities formed the ensemble MATÍS, which specializes in chamber music of the 17th and 18th century and they were awarded the second prize at the International Telemann Competition in Magdeburg . On their first CD they play works by Merula, Caccini, Turini, and others.
