Gombert: Motets 3 - Beauty Farm

Today Nicolas Gombert (ca. 1495-ca.1560) is much less known than other Franco-Flemish composers of the 15th and 16th centuries, but the presumed pupil of Josquin Desprez must be counted among the most important representatives of the Franco-Flemish school, if only because of his almost unparalleled contrapuntal artistry. The vocal ensemble beauty farm once again embarks on a journey of exploration into the motets of this great Renaissance master.
